Who I am

Education and experience

After earning a Bachelor of Psychological Science from the University of Adelaide, Australia, they completed a Master’s Degree in Cognitive Psychology and Health Communication at the Vita-Salute San Raffaele University in Milan and the Università della Svizzera italiana in Lugano. They completed their clinical internship at the San Raffaele Turro Hospital in Milan, focusing on neuropsychological assessment and the diagnosis and treatment of sleep disorders, with a particular emphasis on the cognitive-behavioral approach. During this time, they assisted in taking clinical histories, case discussions, and activities related to prevention, health promotion, support, and psychological counseling. This experience took place within an interdisciplinary team setting, aimed at diagnosing and treating patients, including those with psychological pathologies and psychiatric comorbidities. They subsequently obtained their professional licensure. For nearly twenty years, they have maintained a personal mindfulness practice and hold a strong interest in its integration into clinical settings, drawing on principles and scientific evidence for stress reduction, the treatment of anxiety and mood disorders, and the enhancement of emotional regulation and resilience. They are currently undergoing post-graduate specialization at the Mara Selvini Palazzoli School of Individual and Family Systemic Psychotherapy in Mendrisio

Clinical Activity

Certamente. Ecco la traduzione aggiornata al femminile (utilizzando i pronomi she/her):
"Her clinical approach is developing according to the systemic-relational model, which views the individual within their specific context and network of significant relationships. She addresses personal distress and individual needs by emphasizing both personal resources and those that can be activated through family, couple, or other life contexts. Her practice serves children, adolescents, and adults, integrating individual, couple, and family sessions whenever possible. She focuses on both prevention and the treatment of existing issues, promoting psychological well-being and supporting the process of therapeutic change. She places particular importance on listening to and understanding individual experiences, recognizing the vital role of relationships as a resource for personal evolution and growth.
