Who I am

Education and experience

She holds a degree in Clinical and Health Psychology with a specialisation in Developmental Psychology from the University of Fribourg and is currently a trainee psychotherapist at the AiM school in Zurich, specialising in integrated cognitive-behavioural therapy. She is completing her training as a pain therapist with the Swiss Pain Society (SPS), alongside courses in Emotion-Focused Therapy for couples (ICTTE) and medical hypnosis at the GHYPS school in Zurich. She has gained clinical experience in various fields, including a placement at the Mendrisio Psychiatric Clinic, in the acute psychogeriatric ward, where she developed skills in neuropsychology (FAB, ACE-R, MMSE). She has also worked in the neonatology and obstetrics departments at the Hôpital Neuchâtelois, with a particular focus on sexology and psychological support for mothers. She volunteered with the Red Cross’s “Vivre-Ici” project, helping to integrate migrants in the Canton of Vaud. During her studies, she took part in a study on the application of the Mindfulness-Oriented Recovery Enhancement (MORE) programme in patients with fibromyalgia, in collaboration with the CEMIC at the CHUV University Hospital. She worked as a psychologist at the Hochgebirgsklinik in Davos, in the psychosomatic department, treating patients with chronic pain, depressive, anxiety and psychiatric disorders, conducting individual consultations, psychoeducational groups and relaxation training. Since 2024, she has been working as a psychologist at the Swiss Army’s Psycho-Pedagogical Service, applying a brief, solution-focused approach. Since January 2025, she has been a member of the committee of the Swiss Adoption and Families Group Association (GAFS), responsible for French-speaking Switzerland. She is also in charge of the self-help group for women with endometriosis in Ticino, through the Endo-Help association. Member of the FSP – Swiss Federation of Psychologists Member of the ATP – Ticino Association of Psychologists.

Clinical Activity

She offers psychological support and educational counselling to people of all ages who are facing various challenges. The psychotherapeutic approach offered is based on an integrated cognitive-behavioural framework, with the aim of guiding the individual towards greater self-awareness, an understanding of their thought patterns, and the emotions and behaviours associated with them. The approach integrates techniques from classical cognitive-behavioural therapy with tools drawn from third-generation models, such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness and Schema Therapy, as well as elements from other psychotherapeutic schools, such as the person-centred approach. The therapeutic relationship is considered a central element in the process of change: through collaborative and authentic dialogue, it encourages the exploration of one’s inner workings and the strengthening of personal resources.
